BOOKING CONDITIONS

Here are our terms and conditions for our upcoming retreat. Prior to your booking, please take the time to read and understand them.

AGREEMENT

On receipt of cleared payment or deposit of your retreat fees, as a retreat guest you agree to the following terms and conditions.

RETREAT PAYMENTS:

A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is due by Friday May 7 2021.

For any bookings made after Friday May 7th 2021, full payment is required within 48hrs.

*Whilst we prefer those who are are able to, to follow these retreat payment terms, we do welcome proactive communication about any payment issues. We are able to offer payment plans on a case by case basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY

There is a no refund policy if you decided to cancel your trip. In some cases, a portion of the payment may be used as credit for another Elements Embodied retreat to be taken within two years of this original retreat date. We will gladly also transfer the credit to another guest where possible.

If you attend the retreat and for any reason whatsoever you can’t complete the full duration of your booking, unfortunately we are not able to issue a refund. 

No Show No Refund.

If, due to external events such as Covid-19 restrictions, terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, pandemic, it is not viable for us to run the retreat, we will post pone. In such circumstances we offer guests the choice between a full refund or a credit to one of our future retreats. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may incur as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

If the retreat is able to run, however you choose not to, or are unable to attend due to a Covid-19 matter, then our standard cancellation policy as stated above stands.

As part of this agreement, retreat guests accept full responsibility for any health, travel or extra accommodation expenses they may incur due to the COVID-19, before, during or after the retreat.

YOUR DETAILS

In order for us to confirm your retreat arrangements you must provide all requested details and the required payment. Necessary details include your full name, date of birth, contact details, emergency contact details and any dietary requirements and pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your retreat arrangements. INCLUSIONS

The price of your retreat includes:

Accommodation and facilities as listed in the retreat notes.

Yoga and other related health/fitness classes as listed in the retreat notes.

The services of the Retreat Leader. 

Airport transfers to and from the retreat.

Daily Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner fully catered meals as listed in the retreat notes.

1 x 60min Zenthai Shiatsu Treatment.

EXCLUSIONS

The price of your retreat does not include:

Flights, taxes and excess baggage charges.

Any meals outside of our catered meals.

Visa and passport fees.

Travel insurance (compulsory).

Optional activities and all personal expenses. 

Your responsibility for your personal health and risks

The nature of the retreat is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. All physical activities provided on the Elements Embodied Retreat are undertaken at each guest’s own risk. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, loss, illness, actions, known or unknown, which may incur as a result of participation in this Elements Embodied Retreat and will not hold Sally Meredith responsible for any temporary or permanent injuries, illness or loss you may experience. You agree to approach your yoga and travels with mindfulness and care, and take full accountability for your own practice and experience.

If applicable, it is your responsibility to meet with your doctor/health professional prior to traveling, and to obtain medical advice at least two months prior to travel for the latest health requirements and recommendations for your destination.

Passenger Baggage and Valuables

We recommend you to pack light! And to mark your baggage clearly with your name and address. Guests should ensure that all baggage, valuables and other personal items are comprehensively insured. No intoxicating liquors, firearms, weapons, nor toxic, flammable, illegal or dangerous goods or substances shall be carried without the prior written consent of Sally together with the express consent of the Manager of the Retreat Venue: the Sanctuary. As a retreat guest, you are fully responsible at all times for any loss or damage of your baggage, valuables and/or any of your person articles and valuables,

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all our guests and we encourage you to organise this at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the categories of cover. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. We ask that you provide proof of your travel insurance prior to your arrival on retreat.

Passports & Visas

For non-Australian guests – You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the country in which you will visit during your retreat. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your retreat.  We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

Feedback & complaints

If you have a complaint about your retreat please inform Sally at the time so that she can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint can be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the retreat. We also welcome any general feedback, reflections and reviews!

Updating of terms and conditions

We will always notify you if we do make any updates, so that you can familiarise yourself with any changes made. The latest terms and conditions can always be found HERE and will supersede any previous versions.
