Curious about the therapeutic power of Yoga and Chinese Medicine?
Does bringing more poetry and creativity into your practice and class theming interest you?
Do you desire to move others in a way that is deeply connecting and awakening?

We are excited to team up with Sally Meredith to offer you ‘The Elements Embodied Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Module’ which is now offering the option to be either a full 5-day program, or each day as standalone modules. Through the lens of the 5 elements, you will learn how to connect to and harness these forces of nature in a way that bring poetry, purpose and therapy into your yoga classes.

Each day will involve a dynamic vinyasa practice themed around the element and its corresponding meridians (energetic channels). This Yoga sequence will be broken down after, as well as some basic theory of meridians and the psychological and physical aspects of the element from a TCM/Taoist perspective (all included in written material you will receive).

Sally will break down relationships between the 5 element phases, and how we can nurture and harmonise common imbalances with our yoga practice, lifestyle and even how we can reframe our language and self-inquiry to evoke a healing effect. Each day will also include lessons specific to the Element focus of the day, on how we can enhance and fine tune our yoga practice/teaching.

The Elemental theme and outcome focus for each day is as follows:

- EARTH - Safe Space - The importance of stability in yoga.

What are the foundations of a safe space? Within the yoga space, for our students, and within ourself? In this module we will cover the following: Earth Element flowing yoga sequence, inclusive language, how to talk to stability and muscle engagement in the body for more emotional/mental grounding and calming, Meridian(energy line) anatomy and alignment, qualities of the Earth Element in TCM - how to balance and harmonise with yoga and lifestyle, self-inquiry around nourishment and self-care, meditation on equanimity.

- METAL - Energy in Motion - Self-inquiry and ritual on (and off) the yoga mat.

How can I invite more self-inquiry into my yoga practice/classes? What are the keys to allowing the lessons on the mat extend into everyday life and relationship? In this module we will cover the following: Metal Element flowing yoga sequence, accessing and speaking to emotional intelligence in the practice, how to work with our energetic anatomy (meridians, Qi, Prana, Life Force), setting clear boundaries for an even deeper sense of freedom, practicing/guiding powerful pranayama (breath practices) and rituals.

- WATER - Journeying Inward - Poetry and storytelling in yoga.

What is it to be in balance and in “flow state”? What are some ways I can unleash my creativity in my yoga asana sequences and language? In this module we will uncover the healing potency of storytelling, analogy and metaphor in yoga practice. We will also cover the following: Water Element flowing yoga sequence, building confidence in speaking the poetic language of the body, how to practice yoga for the nervous system, deep listening exercises for deepening our intuition, yogic practices to nurture our vital essence (Ojas/Jing) so that we can thrive and help others to also do so.

- WOOD - Movement is Medicine - Creating and Actioning the VISION.

What are the steps for me to bring forth my deepest desires into life? Where do I envision the yoga practice to take me? This module will cover the following: Wood element flowing sequence, healthy joints - healthy sense of direction, fluidity balanced with clear focused intention, how to create an atmosphere of community in the yoga room, setting sankalpa (intention) and strengthening our focus (drishti), vision quest to support connecting with our purpose and the practicalities in actioning our dreams.

- FIRE - Choose Joy - Living the example.

In my yoga practice, how can I embody my deepest values? How can I have even more intention in what I am aligning myself with and transmitting to the environments around me? This module will cover the following: Fire element flowing sequence, the power of intention and attention. “where your attention goes, energy flows”.. building confidence with self-expression and the importance of sharing what truly makes our heart sing (the world needs more of this!!!), prajna - the intelligence of the heart - how to live from and care for the powerful space of the heart, Bhakti Yoga - the practice of devotion and allowing something greater than our small selves to pour through us.
